REDM INVENTORY
An inventory for RedM servers running VORP Core 3.3, in English and French. It replaces vorp_inventory: same exports, same arguments, same events, same database tables. Your other scripts keep working without a change, your players keep their items, and you can switch back to vorp_inventory at any time. Keys, limits, drops, hotbar, weapons, saddlebags, search and logs are set in open config files.
Requires vorp_core, ox_lib and oxmysql. Uses vorp_stables for saddlebags, cm-target or ox_target for target options, cm-restraint for search states and vorp_character for clothing toggles when they run. None of them is required.
WHAT IT DOES
- Items with metadata, stack limits, weight, rarity, groups as tabs, decay and durability. Search bar, sort, free placement in the grid, split, merge, stack all.
- Weapons and ammo: gunbelt, rounds held by each weapon, components, wear and cleaning, dual wield, lantern on the belt, optional manual reload.
- Arrows, throwing knives, tomahawks, hatchets and bolas picked up again after a shot or a throw, within what the player fired.
- Give: drag an item on a nearby player, the receiver accepts. Drop: a real prop on the ground that every player sees, picked up with a prompt.
- Hotbar with five slots on keys 1 to 5, saved on the server, so it follows the player to another computer.
- Secondary inventories registered by your other scripts, horse saddlebags and wagon storage.
- Search of a player who is dead, hogtied, cuffed or has the hands up.
- Options in cm-target or ox_target (search, give, saddlebags, wagon storage, pick up) instead of the native prompts, when one of them runs.
- Discord logs per family: give, drop, pick up, storages, search, refused actions, death.
WHAT YOU CAN SET
Interface. Accent color, weight unit, gold and rol in the footer, double click to use, tabs and their icons, rarity colors and style, tooltip placement, sounds, walking while the window is open. Every text is in the locale files.
Rules. Opening while dead, hogtied, cuffed or galloping. Give distance, accept timeout, what the give halos show (server id, name, both or nothing). Drop lifetime, props per item, limits per player and per spot. Search states and distance. Storage reach. Weapons carried at once, per job limits. Starter items and weapons of new characters. Death penalties for money, items, weapons and ammo, with exempt jobs.
Money as item. Off by default. When on, the money of the character shows as an entry in the satchel instead of the footer: drag it on a player to give, out of the window to drop a money bag, into a storage to store it. vorp_core keeps holding the money, so your other scripts are not affected.
BEFORE YOU INSTALL
- No item image is shipped. Copy the images of your old vorp_inventory (
html/img/items) intocm-inventory/images/items. Scripts that load images fromnui://vorp_inventory/...need their path changed. - Never run vorp_inventory and cm-inventory together. If vorp_inventory is started, cm-inventory prints an error and does nothing.
- One table is added (
cm_inventory_hotbar) and the itemsmoney, goldandrolare added toitemswhen missing. Nothing else changes in your database. - Where vorp_inventory did not do what it announced, cm-inventory does: for example
addItemon a full stack answersfalse. The README lists every difference. - Things dropped on the ground do not survive a restart. A dropped weapon goes back to its owner.
- A projectile picked up after its weapon was put away is not given back.
- After restarting cm-inventory alone, restart the scripts that use it, or the server.
- Tested on VORP Core 3.3.
